Late last week, Dassault Systemes announced a new partnership with HTC offering professional services to businesses looking to implement a VR solution in the work environment. Dassault Systemes is a premier developer in 3D design software, 3D Digital Mock Up and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. They can cater to any companies needs and this partnership will be great for the expansion of virtual reality in the workplace.
We think it’s wise for HTC to partner with a company like Dassault Systemes, because lots of companies are eager to invest in VR. An initial problem businesses have involves finding the right resources to turn that idea into a tool for productivity. Do you think this new partnership will be good for business?
Where to find Dassault and HTC on display
The new duo will be showcasing business-like experiences at several upcoming trade shows. The first series will be one of Dassault Systemes’ own events called Age of Experience and will take place at the following locations:
Also expect to see the company’s 3DEXPERIENCity in action at the World Cities Summit 2016 in Singapore from 10-14 July.
Take a look at highlights from Dassault Systems at CES 2016 as they showcased their Dream Sketcher application for the Vive.
We can see how this experience went over well with CES attendees, but this program could be very applicable in the workforce as objects can be uploaded and then designed around saving companies time and energy to create physical mock ups of prototypes or improvements of current creations. Dream Sketcher is only a piece of what Dassault can do for businesses and right now we’re sure lots of companies are coming to HTC looking for guidance on where to start.
